optional — but the AI will dig deeper with it

Fill in all three blanks first — click the coloured words to edit them.

Your Trust Density™ prompt

Copy it, then paste it into your AI of choice.

What happens next: the AI will interrogate your business the way real customers do, score you against the five Trust Density signals, and give you a prioritised list of fixes. Take the useful thing you already know — and make it easier for the next customer to find. Then push the AI to give you more detail on any aspect — ask it to expand the fix list, explain a score, or write the content it suggested.

The idea

What is Trust Density™?

Trust Density is the amount of clear, repeated, real-world evidence AI can find about your business. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity "who should I use for X near me?", the AI doesn't guess — it weighs the evidence it can find. Businesses with dense, consistent evidence get recommended. Businesses without it are invisible, however good they are in real life.

Google rankings got you found by people who searched. Trust Density gets you recommended by machines that answer. It rests on five signals:

Clarity

Is it obvious what you do, where, and for whom?

Proof

Reviews, case studies, real work, verifiable results.

Authority

Others citing you — press, directories, industry bodies.

Presence

Findable everywhere AI looks — site, maps, profiles.

Consistency

The same facts, everywhere, kept up to date.

Privacy

Nothing you type here leaves your browser

This page is a single piece of JavaScript running entirely on your device. There is no backend, no database, no account, and no tracking of any kind. We don't even use Google Analytics — no cookies, no pixels, no spyware, nothing. Your business name, details and website never get sent to us — the prompt is assembled locally and only exists on your screen until you copy it.

The only place your information goes is where you choose to paste it — your own AI assistant, under your own account and their privacy terms. We never see your prompt, your results, or your score. There's no cookie banner on this site because there's nothing to consent to.

Questions

FAQs

Is this free? What's the catch?

Genuinely free, no email required, no catch. The generator gives away the same starting point we use with paying clients, because the diagnosis is the easy bit — the work is in the fixing. If the results make you want help, that's where we come in. If not, you've still got a useful to-do list.

Which AI should I paste it into?

Any of the big four — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. Better still, run it in two or three. Each one has slightly different knowledge of the web, so where they agree you can be confident, and where they disagree you've found a consistency problem worth fixing.

The AI couldn't find my business at all. Is it broken?

No — that is the result. Invisibility is the most common finding for small businesses, and the most fixable. It means the evidence about you either doesn't exist online or is too thin and scattered for AI to trust. The fix list the AI gives you will be almost entirely quick wins.

Why do different AIs give me different scores?

Each AI has trained on and can search different slices of the web, at different points in time. Wildly different answers between AIs usually mean your information online is inconsistent or patchy — which is itself a Trust Density problem. Consistent businesses get consistent answers.

How often should I run this?

Run it now to get a baseline, do the quick wins, then re-run it every couple of months. AI models and their search indexes update constantly, so improvements you make will start showing in the answers — usually within weeks for web-search-enabled AIs.

Can I run it on a competitor?

Yes, and you should. Swap their name into the blanks and see why the AI recommends them. Their score against the five signals tells you exactly what evidence they've built that you haven't — which is a ready-made roadmap.

Is this the same as SEO?

It overlaps but it's not the same. SEO is about ranking in a list of links; Trust Density is about being the answer when there's no list — when an AI names one or two businesses and the rest don't exist. Good SEO foundations help, but AI also weighs reviews, citations, consistency and proof in ways classic SEO never measured.

What's a good score?

Treat the numbers as directional, not gospel — the value is in the justifications and the fix list. That said: most small businesses land between 15 and 25 out of 50 on first run. Above 35 and you're likely already being recommended; below 15 and you're effectively invisible to AI.

If you'd rather someone did this properly

The prompt gets you the diagnosis. Acting on it — rewriting pages, building proof, fixing your citations, adding the structured data AI reads — is work. If you'd rather not do it yourself, this is literally what we do all day.

Who's behind this

Who are we, and why would we know?

Trust Density™ is a framework from Livetech, a digital agency in Llandudno, North Wales, building and marketing websites since 2000. We look after around 70 client businesses and some 300 hosted sites, and we run a network of about 50 of our own tourism and content sites — which means when AI behaviour changes, we see it across hundreds of real businesses at once, not in a blog post three months later.

Trust Density came out of that vantage point: watching which of our clients AI assistants recommend, which they ignore, and working out what separates the two. The framework, the five signals and the self-interrogation method are what we use on real businesses — the generator above just hands you the starting point for free.
